M. Tech in Electrical Engineering is one of the traditional engineering disciplines that deal with the study and application of electricity and electronics. Master in Electrical Engineering is a two-year postgraduate program imparting basic knowledge in main disciplines such as radiofrequency design, signal processing, microelectronics, microprocessors, control systems, communications, power generation, electrical machines, etc.

The course at Department of Electrical Engineering, DBUU centres around the fundamental industrial needs of 'Electrical Engineering.' Students will be equipped with the basic knowledge of the advancements of the various facets of engineering such as DSP, Smart Grid, FACTS, Drives, etc. DBUU offers specialization in a smart grid that defines an advanced age of hardware, software, and networks that connect physical infrastructure with analytical computing systems.

The specialization in Smart Grids beneath the programme offers state-of-art technical training in smart energy management and power grids and economic, societal, and cultural factors to prepare students for future challenges, preserving the total energy chain. The advanced Electrical Engineering course curriculum of the programme enables students to fulfill the global competency in industry and academia.   1. GATE Fellowship candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000/-
  2. Candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs. 12000/- if they have a 75 % score in B.Tech(Non -GATE).
