The BMLT - Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology, It is a 3.5-year program that deals with with the aim of equipping the aspirant with adequate skills and knowledge to carry out routine laboratory diagnostic strategies, and some refined laboratory diagnostic strategies. medical lab tech, deals with new improvements in the management of Laboratories, Instrumentation, etc., and refined professional skills. In this program, the students learn to perform a diagnostic examination on body fluids involving Immunologic Chemical Haematological Bacteriological and Microscopic tests that assist in analyzing and treating diseases. This program also provides students with the understanding and aptitudes needed to endure the advanced lab supplies and performs accurate laboratory tests.

As future health experts, BMLT course ensures that the Students shall be well aware of their value-added responsibility towards the community. They must be acquainted with the health issues to comprehend and address prevalent health problems and use appropriate measures. Program Specific Objectives (PSO's)

PSO-1 Students should possess practical and theoretical knowledge of the laboratory test linked with a diagnosis of diseases, including a pathological, biochemical, and microbiological examination in the laboratory.
PSO-2 Impart students the knowledge to utilize the principles of scientific tests, thinking analytically, apparently and critically, while decoding laboratory situations and assembling patient reports after sample.
PSO-3 To help students demonstrate adequate planning abilities, including timing management, resource management, laboratory tests, delegation skills and administrative skills.
PSO-4 To make students understand, analyse and comprehend the value of their professional roles in society (e.g., laboratory supervisors and managers, health care professionals).
PSO-5 To apply ethical principles and dedicate to skilled ethics, responsibilities and standards of the laboratory practice.
